Sarah is the proud mother of 2 children, Ben and Abi, that keep her very busy after business hours and encourage her to find balance in her life.

Sarah has 10 years of post-secondary education and training. She holds an honors degree in Psychology (1998) and is a Naturopathic Doctor (2003). She is also a consulting Hypnotherapist (2003) and a Certified Yoga Instructor, through the Yoga Alliance Program at The Essential Yoga Studio in Fernie (2010).

Sarah opened her wholistic medical clinic, Winds of Change Health Services in 2004 in the Crowsnest Pass rebranded as The Health Hub in 2012. She also added The Yoga Hub in 2009 on Main Street in Blairmore.

Her passions include: pediatric and women’s health, yoga, research, pregnancy and labor support, traveling, speaking and writing.

  • Ongoing speaking engagements with government offices, parent link centers and wellness retreats.
  • Opened The Yoga Hub in 2009, teaching since 2007.

  • Honors Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the University of Alberta with honors distinction in Psychology in 1998.
  • 1998-2003 Employed at various health food stores in Edmonton & Calgary and learned valuable product information
  • 1999 Certificate of Nutrition from Wild Rose College in Calgary
  • 2003 Graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine program
  • Also completed Levels 1 and 2 of Reiki, attended the Doula/Birth attendant course and am certified as a Bowen therapist.
  • 2003 Certified as a Hypnotherapist
  • 2004 Registered as Naturopathic Doctor (ND)
    Registered ND’s have 4500 classroom hours in courses including anatomy, physiology, histology, pharmacology, minor surgery, and more. Four full-time years are study are focused on lifestyle counseling, herbal medicine, biochemical nutrition & supplementation, homeopathy, acupuncture and includes 1500 clinical hours treating patients (www.ccnm.edu).
